Are you eager to develop the next generation of demolition robots? At Brokk, we are looking for an electrical engineer stationed at our headquarters in Skellefteå, Sweden, who is not afraid to challenge technical limits. Here, you’ll design, test, and bring your ideas to life directly within our products. If you have a passion for technology and want to contribute to future solutions, you might be the person we’re seeking.
About the Company
Brokk is a globally recognized leader in the industry. We design, manufacture, and sell demolition robots worldwide. As an international group with revenue exceeding 1.6 billion SEK, we encompass over 20 companies globally, five of which are manufacturing firms, while the others focus on sales. Our group continues to grow steadily, both organically and through acquisitions.
Our corporate culture at Brokk is of great importance to us. We embody results, professionalism, and a collaborative spirit. Together, we strive to achieve the best outcomes with the big picture in mind. With short decision-making processes, we are quick to experiment and find smarter ways to work. At the same time, we foster a supportive community where curiosity and engagement are the driving forces in our daily activities. Brokk is a successful, profitable, and growing company, both in Sweden and internationally. We have more than doubled our revenue over the past decade. With us, you’ll become part of a winning team!
Your Responsibilities
As an electrical engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the development of our products and the advancement of new technologies. You will collaborate closely with our hydraulic engineers, software developers, and mechanical designers in Skellefteå. Your responsibilities will cover the entire development process—from creating design solutions to calculating and sizing frequency converters and motor drives, as well as preparing manufacturing documentation.
You will enjoy significant freedom to think creatively and test your ideas, supported by a streamlined decision-making process that enables quick implementation of your solutions. Additionally, you will be actively involved in testing and evaluating the finished products.
Your Background/Your Qualities
For this position, we are looking for someone with a university degree in a technical field, professional experience in technical design, and a desire to innovate. Familiarity with motor drives, battery technology, or charging systems is a plus, though it is your curiosity, courage, innovative mindset, and your ability to see both the big picture and the finer details that will make you a great fit for our team.
At Brokk, we highly value teamwork and seek a colleague who thrives in collaborative settings and is eager to share their knowledge. We offer a role where you can actively shape the technology of the future. Proficiency in both Swedish and English is essential.
