Lightweight control box

Weighing less than 3 kg, Brokk SmartPower+ features a new state-of-the-art lightweight control box, ensuring operator comfort and ease during operations. With the operator in mind, we created a control box that is easy to carry, optimized ergonomics for long-term use and includes a shifted center of gravity to decrease strains and discomfort.

The control box sits on an adjustable belt to fit the operator’s height and size. This results in less fatigued operators, which in turn, contributes to more sustained working hours, a more enjoyable operating experience, and increased productivity.

Designed for a full day of demolition

The new Brokk SmartPower+ control box is the result of extensive research and testing that ensure industry-leading ergonomics for hands and bodies of varying sizes. The Brokk SmartPower+ generation now features ergonomic short joysticks that can be adjusted and tilted to suit the needs and preferences of the operator.

The ergonomically designed joysticks — which align with the operator’s natural arm position — result in less strain in their thumbs and hands, providing more comfort during long work shifts. Ample wrist space further contributes to more comfort due to less fatigue and less strain in the shoulders and back.

The Brokk QuickSwitch

With the new patented Brokk QuickSwitch, operators can easily switch between working and repositioning the robot by just pressing a lever on the joystick, which facilitates efficient, uninterrupted operations.

By allowing operators to reposition the robot without having to let go of the joysticks, operators can work in a safe and efficient manner as they can continue to monitor the machine and the task at hand without having to look at the control box. This innovative feature both increases safety and productivity for the operators.
